NATURAL WINE GUIDE TO LONDON 2025 | 5 Bars, Shops & Restaurants

If you’re exploring London with a taste for low-intervention wine, here’s a compact guide to some of the city’s best spots. Whether you want a relaxed dinner, an exciting wine shop to grab some natural wine bottles — London is full of passionate people doing wine differently and we'll make it easy for you to find them.

5 Natural Wine Places in London

1. BRAWN

brawn.co | 📸 @brawn49

Brawn feels like a long lunch and a long hug that never wants to end — generous, warm, and unpretentious. The menu changes daily, rooted in seasonal cooking, ingredients sourced as much as possible with local producers and suppliers. With a delicious wine list that is almost fully natural - with bottles sourced from small producers. You can find names like Binner, Jean-Pierre Robinot, Rietsch, L'Octavin, Tscheppe and even Yann Durieux on the list.

2. NOBLE ROT

📍 51 Lamb’s Conduit St (Bloomsbury) | 2 Greek St (Soho) | 5 Trebeck St (Mayfair)
🌐 noblerot.co.uk | 📸 @noblerotmag

Noble Rot has three locations in London: Bloomsbury, Soho and Mayfair. Part wine bar, part intimate restaurant, part (fantastic) magazine — this is London’s love letter to great wine. We went to the cozy Bloomsbury location. Expect beautifully curated lists, dishes with a French personality, and staff who know their growers inside out. Book ahead for evenings!

3. SHRINE TO THE VINE

📍 48 Lamb’s Conduit Street, London WC1N 3LH
📞 0044 0207 183 4380 | 🌐 shrinetothevine.co.uk | 📸 @shrinetothevine

The small but MIGHTY shop from the Noble Rot team. Every bottle here is something they’d personally drink — organic, biodynamic, or simply soulful. Big selection with names like Valli Unite, Occhipinti, La Stoppa, Sylvain Pataille and many more. Check their Instagram for new arrivals and tastings.

4. IDLE MOMENTS

📍 86 Columbia Road, London E2 7QB
🌐 idle-moments.com | 📸 @idle.moments

Lovely record and hi-fi shop that happens to sell fantastic natural wine — because why not? From Japanese jazz LPs to Slovenian skin-contact, it’s the most relaxed place in London to browse both Japanese vinyls and grapes. Great selection! Find Le Coste, Patrick Bouju, Lammidia, Ginglinger, Yannick Meckert and many many more in the shelves.

5. LADY OF THE GRAPES

📍 16 Maiden Lane, Covent Garden, London WC2E 7NJ
📞 +44 20 7836 4152 | 🌐 ladyofthegrapes.com | 📸 @ladyofthegrapes

The kind of little wine bar you hope to stumble upon on a cold and wet Thursday. With baked camembert, soft candlelight, and shelves of natural wine. Gets you all warmed up just by looking at it. They shine a light on female-led estates and sustainability. The name says it all. Extensive wine list with names like Passalacqua and Judith Beck.

Last but not least:

Good wine doesn’t need rules — just a sense of adventure. So start somewhere, anywhere: a glass at Brawn, a Japanese Jazz record spin and a bottle of orange at Idle Moments, or a candlelit toast at Lady of the Grapes. London’s natural wine world is full of stories. Go find yours.
