NATURAL WINE & FOOD GUIDE PRAGUE
As we don’t only drink natural wine but also love to travel, we decided to make a beautiful short food and natural wine guide to our favorite spots in the Golden City Prague. Enjoy!
Delightful and intimate natural wine bar and shop, hidden inside a lovely old building in the centre. The sommeliers will give you a taste and help you choose to decide from the insane selection. The beautifully decorated courtyard and balconies invite you to sit for a long time - cozy sipping, swirling, talking, drinking. They also have food and snacks to go with your wine.
Lovely mid-sized wine shop with a unique selection of natural wines. If you are looking to buy Czech and Slovakian natural wines, this is your spot. You can also find German, French, Italian and Slovenian natural wine. They have some wines by the glass, just ask them. Friendly experts with great advice. Find your inner raw wine geek and pay them a visit!
We’re obsessed! Incredibly thought out interior and concept with great service. With locally, very well-sourced ingredients and open fire cooking, they create classic dishes with a slight twist. Mouth watering, comforting and innovative. Great Czech beers and you can even find a few natural wines on the menu. The Tartare is to die for!
AUTENTISTA
Wine & Champagne bar in old town with a tasteful interior. Insightful, attentive staff keen to share their wine wisdom and guide you. Great selection of champagne and natural wines. We had a mind-blowing Petr Kočařík Pinot Gris and instantly bought a bottle to take away.
BOTTEGA LINKA
A fantastic combo of a restaurant, deli, and wine bar with great interiors and outstanding concept. We had breakfast with some of the best scrambled eggs of our life!! They put an emphasis on using high-quality, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, crafting dishes that showcase the best the region and season has to offer. Great wine list with some natural and organic wines!
No natural wines here, but we highly recommend the famous Medieval Tavern for food and the experience. Quite a touristy spot, fantastic for people watching, the interiors are thought out and not cheap and the chicken wings are fantastic. The food in general is and so are the home made lemonades and Czech beers. Reserve a table online it’s always full. Fun experience.
Some other spots on our list we haven't managed to go to yet:
FAJNSMEKR A famous Vinoteca in the Vršovice quarter. They focus on low intervention natural wines and have a small shop with delicacies and local produce.
VELTLIN beautiful wine bar in the Karlin district offering natural, authentic wines. They know all their winemakers personally.
HOKUS POKUS cute little wine bar with natural wines in Ostrava.
VINOGRAF several stylish natural wine locations throughout the city.
NWS (Brno) Lovely natural wine shop with online store outside Prague in Brno.
One last thing! Ever tried Czech natural wine? If you are in Prague you should? If you are not in Prague, buy the incredible natural wines of MIRA Nestarec from our shop.
