Muscat, partly direct-pressed, partly fermented on the skins with a percentage of various PIWI varieties. The wine remains on the lees for 10 months before being bottled unfiltered.

A delightful interplay of freshness and tannins makes this wine particularly exciting. Aromatic and juicy, with musky grape, honeysuckle, and ripe pear. Fresh herbs and zesty lemon-grapefruit acidity lead to a crisp, slightly cloudy finish. Light, soft, with an exceptional drinkability.

About Stefan Buchmayer

Stefan Buchmayer represents a new generation of Austrian natural winemakers. He farms 2.5 hectares of biodynamic, Demeter-certified vineyards with old vines in traditional, partly forgotten sites. His focus is on letting deeply rooted vines express the history and character of the soil.
Some wines ferment with skin contact, others are pressed directly. Hand-harvested, unfiltered, minimal (if at all) use of sulfites. Modern natural wine with a clear signature: pure, vibrant, honest.
