From vines on clay-limestone soils in the Vallée de l'Herault. The grapes are first destemmed, then macerated in stoneware eggs for 44 days and aged in tank for 9 months. Unfiltered, with no added sulphites.
Et voilà, this Bourboulenc is yet another bomb from Mr. Tortul, with a citrusy nose of lemons and bergamot, surprising for its complexity and length, with a taut, mineral palate and a finish that is very marked by the maceration.
