From a 60-year-old vineyard on the Mount Etna southern slope, at almost 1000m altitude. Three day maceration on the skins, then racked into a steel tank, where it stays until spring. Malpelo is a bright ruby red with an intense and fruity nose. Cherries and mature strawberries paired with a generous juiciness and smooth and elegant tannins on your palate. Warm and intense. Mmm...
