In the local dialect, 'Iastemma' means 'blasphemy', which is exactly what Ennio has done in the eyes of purists with this wine. Falanghina is usually made without skin contact, but Ennio pushed the boundaries with an 8-month maceration. This wine is a flavor bomb! Notes of apricot, candied orange, dates, herbs, spices and brown sugar. The taste is full and rich, supported by a light tannin and a beautiful acidity. Blasphemous? Rebellious? Iastemma is simply a fantastic wine with a great character.
