About 'L'Americana' by Tenuta Vincenzo Nardone:

Literally "the wine of the heart" for Pupo, as it is dedicated to his American wife, who loves Irpinia as much as he does. This orange wine is a very successful experiment in carbonic maceration of Greco grapes, spontaneously fermented in steel and bottled after 6 months of aging, without the use of sulfites. A fresh and lively wine, with a pleasant and easy drinkability. Peach, apricots and a delicious tannin. From aperitifs to rich fish dishes, this is the perfect wine for evenings with friends.

About Tenuta Vincenzo Nardone

Pupo (Nicola Nardone) makes natural wines in Venticano, Avellino, on volcanic soils in Campania. He studied oenology in Bordeaux but ditched the rigid French tradition for something wilder. Since 2004, he's been farming organically with an "Organic Forest" philosophy: spontaneous grass, no herbicides or pesticides, all work done by hand.
Greco, Coda di Volpe, Falanghina, and Aglianico grapes, zero sulfites. The wines are intense, rich, and lively, just like him.
