Danse De Saint Guy 2022
About 'Danse De Saint Guy' by La Sorga:
A spectacular Chenin Blanc from the high-altitude terroir of Castelreng in the Upper Limoux Valley!
The winemaking is fascinating - whole bunches are given a "dip" for one month, followed by 9 months of aging on lees in sandstone eggs. The result? An extremely mineral nose with beautiful white flowers and green apple notes. The palate is wonderfully complex and mineral (limestone), with floral bergamot accents and a racy, acid-driven finish that perfectly captures both the variety and these high-altitude vineyards.
Zero sulfites, zero filtration, zero anything else - Anthony says this is his best Chenin so far! A stunning expression that would shine alongside seafood or creamy cheeses!
