Fantastic Cabernet Franc grown on sandy soil in a 17 year old vineyard. Brief fermentation on whole clusters with stems. Completes fermentation in older oak barrels. Delightful and not too heavy red (10.5%) with a nose full of chocolate, tobacco, ripe cherry and ripe strawberry leading you to to a fresh and fruity, very juicy medium-bodied palate with lively, yet unobtrusive tannins.
