Bouvines 2022
About 'Bouvines' by La Sorga:
A delicate Grenache beauty from Aspiran in the Hérault valley! These 25 and 42-year-old vines grow on Villafranchian soils and limestone sands, yielding a tiny 15hl/ha - a testament to concentration and character.
Manually destemmed with a gentle 28-day maceration, this wine spends 5 months aging in horizontal sandstone eggs. The nose is incredibly delicate, dancing with strawberry, cherry and rose petal aromas. On the palate, it's elegantly streamlined, offering crushed strawberries and grenadine notes that finish with a refined white pepper touch.
Zero sulfites, zero filtration, zero anything else - just pure fruit expression. A transparent, terroir-driven red that perfectly captures the essence of natural winemaking!
